Hays Days: A Deborah Hay Celebration

This event series honors a legendary choreographer and offers an intimate look at her latest work. Deborah Hay’s storied career and expansive legacy date back to her work with Merce Cunningham and the Judson Dance Theater during the 1960s. Since then, her own rigorous and experimental methodology and her ongoing investigations into the ephemeral nature of dance have inspired peers, scholars, critics, and generations of choreographers across Europe and the United States. Thanks to Ellen Bromberg for providing footage from her documentary Deborah Hay, not as Deborah Hay. Watch the complete documentary.
