Walker Film and Video is proud to present Olivier Assayas: Between Love and Terror and even prouder because we will be screening two, fresh, never-before seen 35mm prints, sent directly from France. The screenings of both Irma Vep and Les destinées (Sentimental Destinies) will feature pristine, new prints on their first time ever through a projector. The upcoming series starts tomorrow night with Irma Vep, and includes a Regis Dialogue with Olivier Assayas and Kent Jones. Make sure you don’t miss this important retrospective of the filmmaker that The New York Times‘ A. O. Scott called, A New Kind of Cineaste.
