What do you love about the Walker?
It must be magic—it’s my “cure-all”—just walking in and spending time with the art and the people makes everything better.
Why did you decide to join?
I became a Walker member when I moved to the “Northland” in order to participate in the arts in my new community. My membership allows me to continue to broaden and enhance that involvement.
You’re also in the Legacy Circle for those who have included the Walker in their will or trust. What prompted that decision?
I love the Walker—I want to do what I can to be sure that it continues to be available to future generations.
You’re also a tour guide! Tell us about that?
I love the educational piece of guiding, both the lifelong learning aspect for me as well as sharing my interest with the visitors. One of my favorite things is to walk into a gallery during a “Writing through Art” tour and find a room full of students sitting on the floor writing about a work of art. Once again, magic.
