Tee Up with Wells Fargo for Skyline Mini Golf

In 2004, seasoned players and amateurs alike took the first swings in the Walker’s new artist designed mini-golf course, which was one of the first of its kind in the Twin Cities. This summer, the crowd-favorite activity is installed on the Walker’s terrace for the third year in a row, treating golfers to terrific views of the Minneapolis skyline. Visitors will encounter 10 unique holes, including past favorites like the Andy Warhol inspired Thrillo Brillo as well as two new additions designed by Twin Cities–based aficionados Tom Loftus and Robin Schwartzman.

This program would not be possible without generous support from Wells Fargo, a longtime corporate member and important Walker sponsor. Wells Fargo has been a partner for more than 20 years, bolstering the museum’s innovative teen programs. Their contributions have provided free gallery admission for teens, making the Walker an accessible space for young adults to explore their creative potential and foster critical thinking.

“We have proudly supported the Walker for years,” says Michael
Casey, regional managing director for Abbot Downing, a Wells Fargo business. “We are especially excited to sponsor Skyline Mini Golf, as it encourages interaction with art and embraces the vitality of the cultural fabric of the Twin Cities.”

The Walker is immensely grateful for Wells Fargo’s continuous support and thrilled they are joining the Skyline Mini Golf initiative as a sponsor.
