Musician, visual artist, and MacArthur Fellow Walter Kitundu has developed a multichannel performance with several hand-built instruments. Made in tribute to human rights activist Malcolm X, the work incorporates field recordings and sounds sampled from the black diaspora to explore racial injustice and police violence.
