Duffy & Partners of Minneapolis created a new identity for the Islands of the Bahamas. Since the majority of economic activity for the country is generated through foreign visitation, the Ministry of Tourism was the natural client. Lacking distinction in a crowded and competitive market of tropical island tourism, Duffy & Partners sought a new, more modern approach that would appeal to a diverse range of tourists and a multitude of private partners that comprise the Islands’ tourism market as well as reflect the country’s range of natural environments. The brand’s colorful mark is a system comprised of various organic shapes that evoke the nation’s archipelago of 700 islands.
