Women Voters, Women Leaders
, scheduled for 5 pm Saturday, May 8, at Coffman Memorial Union, University of Minnesota, as part of the Walker Art Center’s Women with Vision film and video festival, has been canceled. In its place will be a discussion on the same topic on May 8 at Oak Street Cinema following the 7 pm screening of Chisholm ’72: Unbought and Unbossed. Shola Lynch, the film’s director, and Vivian Jenkins Nelsen, president of Inter-Race Institute, will lead a discussion on the impact of women on American politics. Tickets are $7 ($5 Walker and Minnesota Film Arts members) and are available at the Oak Street Cinema box office.
