On Saturday, November 10 and 17, 9 am–12 noon, the Walker Art Center presents the studio class
for kids ages 8–10. Sketchbooks are a necessary tool for many artists, including Frida Kahlo, who used them to experiment with materials and scribble down ideas. During this class, kids will visit the exhibition Frida Kahlo to learn about ways that colors, text, and lines, mixed with a little imagination and a wide range of symbols, can turn our own unique stories into an illuminating visual journal.
Tuition is $100 ($80 Walker members). Space is limited; call 612.375.7600 or visit walkerart.org to register.
