Passes for Walker on the Green: Artist-Designed Mini Golf will be offered free to active duty military personnel and their families on Memorial Day, May 27, redeemable that day. Co-presented with mnartists.org to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, the two eight-hole courses were created based on winning proposals from architects, artists, engineers and more, selected in January from an open call. Two more holes are designed and produced by students from a public sculpture class at the University of Minnesota, led by artist Chris Larson. Walker on the Green also features the Dog House serving all-beef hot dogs, beverages, and frozen treats.
