Get ready for dancing, coloring, fun, and a ton of surprises with Dance and Draw! Join us for an all-ages online Zoom event supporting the recent publication of Dance Party, part of the Coloring Books for a Cause series published by Har Mar Superstar (Sean Tillmann) and Laura Hauser. Illustrators Emma Eubanks and Michael Gaughan will bring their book to life with color theory demonstrations, dance breaks, and tips on how to get the creative juices flowing. This interactive variety show features special artist appearances by Har Mar Superstar, Adam Larry Wish, Sophia Wang, Marshall Lacount, Noah Lawrence-Holder, and a puppet show by Liz Howls. Plus, get ready to draw AND dance with special playlist compiled by Emma and Michael especially for this event.

Michael Gaughan is a Minneapolis-based watercolor artist. He holds an MFA in painting from the San Francisco Art Institute (2014) and an M.Ed in art education from the University of Minnesota (2004). He has over 16 years of teaching experience and over 19 years of experience as an exhibiting visual artist, performing artist, and commercial artist.
Emma Eubanks is a Minneapolis-based illustrator, graphic designer, and freelance artist. A 2018 graduate of the Minneapolis College of Art and Design with a BFA in illustration, she has designed for the Nassauischer Kunstverein Wiesbaden, Germany, and the Fulton Brewing Company in Minneapolis. |
