Family Amenities
Nursing and Bottle Feeding
Breastfeeding is welcome anywhere in the museum. Please restrict food, drinks, and bottles to non-gallery spaces, such as the lounges and lobby, where artwork is not on view.
Infant Care Room
A private infant care space, with a chair, changing table, and sink, is located on the lower level, adjacent to the Main Lobby. To get there, proceed past the reception desk and take the stairs or the elevator down to LL. The room will be straight ahead.
Restrooms, lockers, and benches are available on this level. The Art Lab and the accessible entrance to the Bentson Mediatheque are also located here.
Restrooms and Changing Stations
This museum map shows the locations of all the restrooms throughout the building.

Single stall, accessible all-gender restrooms are available. These are located in the hallway between the Main Lobby and Cardamom restaurant. Gendered restrooms are located on levels LL, 8, and the Upper Garden Terrace. Restrooms do not have automatic doors.
Baby changing stations are located in all restrooms.
Strollers
Strollers are allowed in the galleries. There are a limited number of strollers available for request from the reception desk in the Main Lobby. Strollers are available on a first-come, first-served basis (no advance reservation).
Family Guides and Gallery Materials
Sketchbooks, pencils, and multilingual family guides are available for request at the Main Lobby desk.
Resources for Families with Sensory Sensitivities
Accommodations for visitors with sensory sensitivities are available free of charge at the front desk. Fidget toys, sunglasses, sketch books, ear plugs, noise-reduction headphones, and pencils are available upon request. Sensory Friendly Sunday takes place on the second Sunday of each month from 8 am to 11 am, offering visitors with sensory processing differences opportunities to enjoy the museum in a calm environment.
