On his way to teach at Blake School one morning, Bob Teslow was lucky enough to see Claes Oldenburgh’s “Spoonbridge and Cherry” arriving from Connecticut, wrapped in plastic and strapped to a flatbed truck. Bob, a fiber artist as well as a photographer, was excited to see the piece out of context: “it was a Christo and an Oldenburgh in one!” He took a few shots before work and returned in the afternoon to document the installation of the work in the soon-to-open Minneapolis Sculpture Garden.
