Description
COSTUMES: Men's cotton long sleeve and sleeveless tunic body suits, some with real and faux fur collars. Shirts are all lighter brown/tan with darker brown/brownish red fur. Men's dark brown/light brown ombre footless tights. Women's leotards with a variety of sleeve lengths in light brown/dark brown ombre shades. Women's peachy tan footless tights. FIRST PERFORMANCE: Twelfth American Dance Festival, Connecticut College, New London, CT; August 14, 1959 FIRST NEW YORK PERFORMANCE: Phoenix Theater; February 16, 1960 FIRST CAST: Merce Cunningham, Carolyn Brown, Viola Farber, Marilyn Wood, Judith Dunn, Remy Charlip MUSIC: Christian Wolff, Music for Merce Cunningham.
