COSTUMES: Men's blueish gray sweat shirts and sweat pants with elastic strips that wrap around the limbs and waist. Women's costumes are a similar design but in rusty brown mauve. FIRST PERFORMANCE: Theatre de France, Paris, France; June 5, 1970 FIRST NEW YORK PERFORMANCE: Brooklyn Academy of Music; November 4, 1970 ORIGINAL CAST: Louise Burns, Susana Hayman-Chaffey, Merce Cunningham, Douglas Dunn, Valda Setterfield, Mel Wong MUSIC: David Tudor, Gordon Mumma, John Cage; First Week of June (the musicians and title of the composition changed with each subsequent performance)
