Page 28 is the Beuys work, and contains offset text in blue, in his handwriting, as well as a stamped blue cross, also in offset. The blue text is superimposed on a photograph from the Action " [squiggly line] " in the Staatliche Kunstakademie, Düsseldorf, 1971. The Beuys page isoriented horizontally, the opposite of the magazine's vertical orientation. To show the work with the magazine open, as illustrated in 1992 Schellmann cat. #39, the dimensions become 1/2 x 11-1/2 x 16-1/2". Photo: Ute Klophaus. Pages 2-45 are also photographs of Beuys, and the section is titled "j. beuys: [squiggly line]". A photo of Beuys appears on the cover as well. This issue of the magazine interfunktionen (volume 7), also contains two artworks (loose sheets), one by Dan Graham and one by Peter Hutchinson. LM of cover someone has handwritten "(1971)" beneath the cover image of Beuys. The number 7 that is printed in black offset in LR corner has a pencil circle around it. There are also handwritten additions in pencil on back cover.
