Anna Swanson

Anna Swanson is a native of Park City, Utah and Olympia, Washington, but finds that she likes the Midwest quite a bit. So, after earning her B.A. in Cinema and Media Studies from Carleton College, she decided to stay here an spend her days as a Walker Film/Video Intern and her nights as a maker of experimental scholarly creative nonfiction essay films. She will be pursuing her M.F.A. in Film and Video Production with a concentration in Feminist Anthropology at the University of Iowa in the fall. When not engaged in film-related activities, she likes riding bikes and listening (critically!) to mainstream pop music.
