Emma August Welter has an MA in Material and Visual Culture from University College London. She has served as a volunteer in the archives of the Walker Art Center since September 2015 and is especially interested in the unexpected resonances elicited by the de-and re-contextualization of ephemera. She currently lives in Minneapolis with a cat named after Coosje van Bruggen.
