Ingrid Nelson

Ingrid Nelson was the Visual Arts Intern at the Walker Art Center in early 2016. She holds a BA in Political Science and Slavic Languages and Literatures (Russian) from Indiana University, and an MA in Russian and Eurasian Studies from Leiden University in the Netherlands. Her MA thesis focused on dissident performance art in modern Russia, with special attention and analysis paid to the protest work of performance artist Pyotr Pavlensky. Portions of her research are set for publication in early 2017.
