Trapped in the Scene: Reshaping our World through Visual Stories
Featuring shorts from Libya, Iraq, Yemen, and Syria, Trapped in the Scene showcases Arab and Muslim stories made by the people who live them. An antidote to familiar Hollywood stereotypes of “scheming terrorists and lazy Bedouins,” these works show us the potential of cinema to “reshape our world.”
