Naimah Zulmadelle Pétigny is a Minneapolis-based dancer, poet, and Black feminist scholar. She holds a B.A in Sociology and Women's Studies from Vassar College and is currently a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Gender, Women and Sexuality Studies at the University Minnesota. At the University of Minnesota, Naimah is a 2017-2018 Schochet Interdisciplinary Fellow in Queer, Trans and Sexuality Studies and Winton Chair Graduate research assistant.
