RaMell Ross is an artist based in Rhode Island and Alabama. He was awarded a 2016 Aaron Siskind Photographers Grant and Rhode Island Foundation MacColl Visual Artist Fellowship. He is a Mellon Gateway Fellow at Brown University and a Sundance Art of Nonfiction Fellow.
