Sarah Hromack works and writes at the social intersection of technology, design, and the arts. She was the founding director of the Whitney Museum of American Art’s digital media department Until recently, she worked as a Senior Associate at Project Projects, the New York-based interdisciplinary design firm, where she lead a variety of interactive, strategic, and publishing projects while collaborating on internal business development initiatives. Hromack is a regular contributor to Frieze magazine, and has written for publications including Artforum, Art in America, Mousse, Print, and Paper Monument. She holds an MA in Visual and Critical Studies from the California College of the Arts in San Francisco, CA, and a BFA in Fine Arts and Art History from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, MD. Sarah lives in Brooklyn, New York, with her partner and son.
